This non-profit school encourages students, no matter their background, to pursue their dreams and improve their artistic ability while having fun! For those without financial means to attend classes, there are scholarships and financial aid available. They offer classes for all ages from one to one hundred years of age! Some classes include art and wine, mommy and me art hour, after school art club, private art classes, bridal art, art for seniors, and many more.

The Art Bar, West Fargo, ND

The Art Bar is a favorite hangout spot among Fargo residents, as it is an exciting and lively social painting venue located conveniently in the heart of West Fargo. During their painting parties, local professional artists gather in the intimate space to teach participants how to improve their painting ability, no matter if they’re starting as a beginner or expert! The painting parties are only open to those 21 or over, as alcohol and light refreshments are served. There are other limited events that are opened to children as well. 

Bismarck Downtown Artist Cooperative, Bismarck, ND

The Bismarck Downtown Artist Cooperative is both an art gallery and open studio space for artists and amateurs alike to explore their talents. This art center brings together the community and gives local artists a chance to show off their portfolio. Classes are also offered for a variety of ages working with all kinds of media, such as colored pencil techniques, turn wine bottles into art, long exposure photography, and plenty more! Department of Art & Design at University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND

In this program, students can pursue programs in visual arts, graphic design and new media, visual arts, and art history. The Art Center, Jamestown, ND

Taube Museum of Art, Minot, ND

Taube Museum of Art features a selection of art from regional, national, and international artists. Admission to the museum is free, so make sure to check out some of their exciting exhibits. The museum offers classes for children of all ages including classes to explore different artistic mediums, “good night art” in which children are read a bedtime story and create an art project, painting, advanced classes, and summer camps. North Dakota Museum of Art, Grand Forks, ND
